Open an account
Opening an account is easy. Simply go to “Register”
and fill out the form. You have to provide some personal
information, particularly your email address, and
choose a Member name. However, your contact information
is never revealed to anyone. It is only used to validate
transactions made with your credit card.
Why do I have to choose
a Member Name?
Your Member Name serves as your main identification
on ASKOOL in order to ensure the confidentiality of
the activities of Members and Experts. Your Member
Name serves also as your contact address in ASKOOL’s
Prepare your sale!
Decide what you want to sell and under which category
and subcategory your product should be listed. Determine
what to say, how to price your product and which shipping
option is best for you. Find out which keywords you
could use to drive users to your listing.
List your items on
Write a description and take a photo of your item
that will help attract buyers. Go to your Seller Office
in the MY ASKOOL section and click on “Add a
new product” in the My Products field! Fill
out form with the relevant info, upload your picture,
and there you go : your personal e-store is active!
You can add as many products as you wish.
Once your product is sold, a notification appears
in your Seller Office. You can then arrange delivery
and, if applicable, send a bill for shipping costs
to the buyer. It's simple and safe! Your account is
credited with the amount you earned. You can then
request that ASKOOL transfers that amount to you through
check, PayPal or Direct Deposit (in Canadian banks
